In these conditions 'The Company' shall mean A. Brunton and 'The Customer' shall mean any person, firm or Company to whom the Company supply goods or service.

All quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. No order for any work shall be a binding contract until accepted by the Company.

i) All prices are exclusive of V.A.T.
ii) The Company reserves the right to refuse to execute any order if the arrangements for payment are unsatisfactory to the Company.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment shall be made 28 days after the date of the invoice and in default of such payment (without prejudice to any other remedy):
i) The Company may withhold further service to the Customer.
ii) The Company further reserve the right to charge and the Customer shall be deemed to have agreed to pay the interest on the amount overdue from the date of default to the date of payment at the rate of 14% per annum.

Skips on the public highway require a permit, this permit lasts for 14 days, it is the customer's
responsibility to inform us if the permit needs renewing, failure to have a current permit will result in a fine from the council.
During the hours of darkness skips must be guarded with lights and cones, it is the customer's responsibility to inform us if the cones or light goes missing or faulty.
Any skip placed on private land or off the highway at the request of the customer is the sole responsibility of the customer and the company will not be held responsible for any damage so caused.

i) No hazardous or toxic substance to be placed in skip.
ii) No container marked with a red 'X' (unless washed internally made completely safe, and prior notice given to the Company) to be placed in the skip.

i) The Customer shall be responsible for any damage caused by neglect, misuse or fire to any skip whilst in the Customer's possession.
ii) The Company shall maintain the ships in reasonable order.

All skips are hired for a period of 7 days per skip unless prior arrangements have been made by the company.
